Release Notes
v1.91
- Finally fixed the audio quality issues. Mixed, trimmed, or otherwise edited audio will now export at the same quality.
v1.9
- You can now use the mixer to convert other audio formats, such as M4A, AAC, MPEG, to MP3. If you require a quick way to convert your audio to MP3, look no further.
v1.8
- Added a random button (appears between the search and upload buttons). When clicked it will automatically search and add six random tracks to the timeline (select a category to randomly add tracks from that category). If you don’t like the ones it chose, just try again. Go ahead, have some fun.
v1.7
- Added a category filter (e.g. select “Memes & Viral” to quickly filter within the select category). Note, the category filter doesn’t affect search results — it will continue to search all categories.
- You can now add up to six sounds.
- Improved loading icons
- Minor CSS improvements
v1.6
- Upload MP3 files. You can now upload MP3 files for editing directly to the mixer — whether your logged in our out (logged in users can save their edits to their profile).
- Maximize fullscreen toggle. For easy editing and meme-ification expand the mix editor to fill the entire browser.
- Export and Save as MP3. Exporting and saving used to be in handled in uncompressed WAV format, but we’ve improve this to now use compressed MP3.
v1.5
- Trim tracks before mixing (merging). You can trim a track by dragging the left and right handles, which are initially set at the start and end of your track. Once you’ve adjusted the start or end position, you can reposition the entire trimmed region by clicking and dragging between the handles. Through trimming and looping, you can create unique sound effects and slightly more complex arrangements.
Note, while this feature is currently limited by the fact that all tracks are merged with their starting positions reset to 0, a future update with an improved timeline will make this much more interesting.
v1.4
- Loop individual tracks to match the length of the longest track in your mix. For example, if you have a 1-second burp that you want to repeat over a 20-second theme song, just check the loop option for the burp, and then combine your mix.
v1.3
- Save your mixes to your profile
v1.2
- Major clean up of the codebase, CSS, and UI (hope you like it)
- Added an equalizer that allows you to better MEME-IFY your combined track by adding distortion, altering volume, etc. Soon we’ll be adding reverb, speed controls, etc.
v1.1
- Volume adjustment on individual tracks, which allows you to manipulate the volume in the combined track and export
- The play/pause button not operates properly.
v1.0
- You can currently add up to three tracks
- The sample rate of the exported WAV file is determined dynamically by the first track you add. If you don’t like the speed at which the audio plays adjust the order.
- Exported mixes are combined, not sequential
- Currently support exporting of WAV files only
